Dr. Gamsky is a game changer for me. He's smart, skilled and a team player. He makes me feel like an equal member of his team, not just a bystander. My personal insights into the cause of my neck pain (that differed from the imaging report) were never ignored or glossed over. Dr. Gamsky really listens. I have enjoyed and appreciated the entire team at PMC.

Dr. Shinaman and his medical asst, Tina, are both so friendly, very professional and efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Shinaman is one of my favorite doctors, and I look forward to seeing him. He’s a pain specialist who is giving me acupuncture and trigger point injections for a chronically bad lower back. He always has ideas to and suggestions for my questions about pain.
He’s extremely intelligent and experienced, although he’s very down-to-earth and approachable. I would recommend Dr. Shinaman to anyone and everyone I know. He’s “tops” in my book!!!

I've worked with two doctors at PMC, Dr. Longton and Dr. Gamsky. I really like both of them. They take the time to answer your questions and I never feel rushed out. Their other staff is great too!

Dr. Shinaman, is very current on all of the Mindbody research and implications, as well as all of the western interventional approaches. Very rare to find, and it helps improve outcomes IMO, at least it does for me.

I can’t say enough good things about my pain management doctor. He truly listens, takes the time to understand what I’m experiencing, and treats me like a person — not just a chart. He is incredibly personable, compassionate, and thoughtful in every visit.
He is the only doctor who has been able to genuinely relieve my pain, and what makes him even more exceptional is that he also focuses on my long-term health, not just short-term fixes. I never feel rushed or dismissed — I feel heard and cared for.
If you are looking for a doctor who combines real expertise with true compassion, I highly recommend him.

Everyone in Dr. Longton office really takes care of the patient and it really shows that they care by their actions . They’re the best set of doctors that I’ve had. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ruben for Kalra and the exceptional care I’ve received for my chronic neck and upper back pain. After trying so many different treatments over the years with little success, I’m finally getting the relief I’ve been searching for. What’s even more reassuring is that several other physicians I’ve seen have also raved about Dr. Kalra - praising his expertise and dedication in the field of pain management. It’s clear that he is highly respected by his peers, which gave me even more confidence in his abilities.
Dr. Kalra has also taken the time to thoroughly explain each step of the process and works with me to develop the most effective treatment plan. His deep understanding of my condition and his innovative approach have made all the difference, significantly reducing my pain and improving my quality of life. By the time I contacted PMC las fall, my lumbar disc and facet joint pain was intractable. I recognized Dr. Longton’s name as the orthopedic specialist who successfully treated my sciatica around ten years ago.
In my opinion, there is too much laxity in who gets to call themselves pain management consultants. Dr. Longton is a veteran orthopedic surgeon who not only advises pain patients about what to do next, but has the skills to follow through with the surgical procedures he recommends. To me, the ability to take responsibility and carry out a recommended procedure hugely validates this doctor’s pain management credentials.
In February of this year (2024), Dr. Longton gave me an ablation that provided the first significant reduction of pain in my upper lumbar facet joints in recent years.
Dr. Longton and his top-notch PAs have helped make life bearable again. They more than deserve my top recommendation.
